Eficacia de una intervención farmacéutica mediante seguimiento farmacoterapéutico para solucionar problemas relacionados con medicamentos en pacientes con diabétes mellitus tipo II puesto de salud La Unión - Chimbote, 2016
Abstract
El objetivo general de la investigación fue determinar la eficacia de una intervención farmacéutica mediante seguimiento farmacoterapéutico para solucionar problemas relacionados con medicamentos en pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo II, intervenidos desde el Puesto de Salud La Unión. Distrito de Chimbote. Abril - Julio 2016.
La metodología utilizada para el estudio fue de tipo aplicativa, cuantitativa y de nivel pre experimental. Con un diseño prospectivo longitudinal, de una sola casilla, no probabilístico y semi ciego.
La muestra fue 12 pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo II, fueron recopilados por un programa de SFT, basado en el método DADER: captación, levantamiento de información, evaluación de la información, intervención, seguimiento y análisis de resultados. Las herramientas e instrumentos específicos fueron: Fichas farmacoterapéuticas.
Resultados, el PRM 2, Actitudes negativas tuvo 12 de frecuencia con un (29.3%) siendo el mayor PRM identificado. La intervención más utilizada para resolver los PRMs, fue el disminuir el incumpliendo involuntario con 9 de frecuencia (22.0%). El canal de comunicación más utilizado fue el Verbal Farmacéutico - Paciente con un 22 de frecuencia (54.0%).
Fueron 28 los PRMs (68.3%) que fueron aceptados y solucionados. Los RNMs más frecuentes, pero no resueltos fueron (toma lo que no necesita) con un 10% cuyo PRM origen fue la actitud negativa. Los pacientes intervenidos sufrieron 3.4 PRMs en promedio estando comprometidos a padecer resultados negativos relacionados con la medicación. Se concluye que El SFT tuvo un valor de significancia de P<0.05.
